Hussein Chalayan is known as a fashion’s storyteller, playing with narratives constructed around cultural identities and anthropology. Hussein Chalayan is appointed Creative Director of the Ready-to-Wear collection for the House
of VIONNET (2015) and designed the Leather Collection for VSP the same year (2014). He also has designed capsule collections for MAVI JEANS (2013), J BRAND (2009) and SWAROVSKI (2007). He has been the Creative Director of Puma (2008).
Chalayan took part in important exhibitions in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, The
Kyoto Costume Institute, The Palais du Louvre in Paris, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and
MOMA in New York.

1993 – Graduated from the Central Saint Martins School in London, Chalayan’s debut collection
